Learn More About Me
I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of MN, as well as a certificate of completion from the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program (P.P.T.P.) through the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (M.P.S.I.). I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Minnesota, wherein I focused on Esotericism and Religious Experience. I continue to explore spirituality, religion, and mythology in my spare time, through both study and daily meditation practice. This background informs my way of being with clients as I integrate these threads in the services I offer. I have experience working with difficult life experiences, depression, anxiety, identity, and existential issues. I have worked with people from a broad array of cultural backgrounds, including ethnic, religious, and LGBTQ diversities.
When not working as a Life Guide, I enjoy reading, writing, listening to music, cycling on remote, gravel roads, and backpacking in the North Woods.

Achieve Your Goals
I offer a unique form of Life Coaching grounded in Psychoanalytic and Mindfulness theories and practices, helping you heal from painful experiences and emotions, while empowering you with deeper insight into your Self.
I work through Telehealth, as this allows me to offer services to you regardless of where you reside in the world; if you speak English and are awake during my available session hours, I look forward to hearing from you.

Analytic Life Guidance
Hello and thank you for considering me as your Life Guide. I would like to share with you a little bit about my approach and way of working. While my services may be similar to those of some Life Coaches, I have chosen to use the phrase Life Guide, as I feel this better reflects the collaborative nature of my approach. I strive to live and work from a place of Multiple Truth, acknowledging and honoring the unique, yet interwoven experience of each person. As each of us learns to find our way in the world, from our earliest days onward, our understanding of ourselves and the world around us is shaped by impactful people and experiences. Being a part of the soil in which we have grown, much of this influence remains unconscious. We are unwittingly influenced by our unconscious, by feelings and beliefs that lie outside of our unawareness. Our work together will be a collaborative journey of uncovering, opening space for, and cultivating awareness and understanding of influences at the root of both strengths and suffering, as a means of working through, finding healing, and cultivating mindfulness and growth. While this process unfolds differently for each of us, it is not an easy one. Given the nature of this work, it will be necessary to explore painful feelings and experiences, which will likely give rise to uncomfortable emotions. While this journey can be difficult, it provides lasting benefits in the lives of those who go through it, including reduced feelings of distress, improved relationships, and resolution of conflicts in one’s life. What people experience is unique to each individual; thus, I cannot provide guarantees as to how your particular experience will be.
As an optional facet of our work, I also offer training in mindfulness meditation practice. While this is not necessary, I do encourage it, as this will serve to enhance the healing, growth, and cultivation of insight and mindfulness developed in our hourly sessions.
Should you have any questions about my procedures, it would be helpful to discuss them as they arise.

“Inner peace is key: if you have inner peace, the external problems do not affect your deep sense of peace and tranquility... Without this inner peace, no matter how comfortable your life is materially, you may still be worried, disturbed, or unhappy because of circumstances.”
